Distance Learning

The master of science and graduate certificate in Information Systems programs are completely available online in a streaming video format providing anytime, anywhere delivery of courses. Students may view courses with only a web browser and broadband internet service. Access to the lecture videos, as well as all course material, and communication with the instructor and other students in the course is accomplished through Blackboard. This software permits posting of documents, informal discussion and e-mail. With this technology, the on-site education experience can be replicated virtually, thus eliminating the need for part-time students to travel great distances to the classroom or experience inconvenient interruptions to their work schedule. Course schedules are aligned with Northeastern’s semester academic calendar. Students may take up to seven years to complete the program.
