Certification PreparationIndustry certification is a powerful part of today's arsenal of skills for success in the world of technology. The Lowell Institute School at Northeastern University is proud to announce a suite of technical elective courses — with many more to come — that will help you get the necessary education to be successful through certification testing. These courses are designed to teach you what you need to know to pass certification examinations — and get college credit at the same time! We are currently offering preparation sequences for the A+® Software and Hardware certification, Microsoft® Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco® Certified Network Associate (CCNA™), and Oracle® Certified Professional exams. All the certification training courses listed below may be used as technical electives in Lowell Institute School degree programs. (These courses cannot be applied to School of Professional and Continuing Studies credit programs.) A+ Certification Exam PreparationCourse sequence – A series of three courses which prepares the student for the A+ Software and Hardware certification for competency of entry level computer service personnel.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification Exam PreparationCourse sequence – A series of five courses which prepares the student for the CCNA™ certification exam.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification Exam PreparationCourse sequence – A series of five courses which prepares the student for the MCSE certification exam.
Oracle Certification Exam PreparationCourse sequence – A series of five courses which prepares the student for the necessary competencies of an Oracle® Certified Professional.
