Degree Program
Joel R. Weinstein, MSIS,
Coordinator for Computer Engineering Technology
Computer Engineering Technology is the fastest growing discipline within the School of Engineering Technology. As computers take responsibility for everything from turning off your headlights to controlling access to bank accounts, the need for engineering technologists who understand the technology and the human implications of computer applications will continue to increase.
At Northeastern, our graduates work in fields ranging from network design and deployment through technical sales for companies of all sizes and disciplines. Because the computer is no longer constrained to the technically proficient, our focus closely monitors the business and human side of computer engineering technology. We promote team development, presentation skills, and multi-discipline activities throughout your stay at Northeastern.
Our courses are filled with real-world applications, many hands-on opportunities, and a faculty that maintains literacy in the latest developments in computer engineering. Computer engineering technology provides an ideal career path for people-oriented individuals who enjoy riding the leading edge of computer applications as these modern machines find their way into new ways of solving old problems.
