Research and Educational Interests

After 28 years at Northeastern University, I continue to enjoy meeting students and their parents and expanding my perspectives. I take an active interest in students, their individual strengths, and their future ambitions.

I have been involved with computer engineering technology from the early 50's when these strange machines began their commercialization. I was fortunate to survive the microprocessor revolution of the 70's, the PC explosion of the 80's and the networking era of the 90's. An avid reader, I maintain my technical proficiency and enjoy the business of technology.

I bring all of this into the classroom where students are exposed not only to technology but also to their roles as the next generation of technology caretakers.
