Engineering Graphics Technology Certificate ProgramThis certificate program introduces students to the fundamentals of engineering graphics design, computer-aided design using AutoCAD®, dimensioning, tolerancing, and solids modeling. This certificate program includes a detailed introduction to the use of computers. Upon completion of the program, a student will have the required skills to successfully enter the graphics technology market. Students planning to continue their education beyond the certificate level will be able to transfer most certificate coursework toward the associate's or bachelor's degree programs in mechanical engineering technology. A combined maximum of two courses may be waived via transfer credit or proficiency examination. (In the course listings below, please click on the course number to see a course description.) Certificate Requirements: Candidates must earn at least 30 quarter hours (QH) beyond the program prerequisites by completing the three quarters of curriculum indicated below. Major Code 071.
