Minor in Business

The School of Engineering Technology recognizes that many of our students have an interest in business courses. The College of Business Administration (CBA) offers a Minor in Business which is designed to provide students with a foundation of various business functions and could help the student prepare for a position in management.

Required courses:

  • ACC U209 – Financial Accounting
  • HRM U209 – Organizational Behavior
  • FIN U209 – Principles of Finance OR
    MIM U512 – Engineering Economy
  • MKT U209 – Introduction to Marketing
  • Plus one of the following Business electives:
    • INB U209 Global Environment of International Business
    • MIS U309 Management Information Systems (Requires ACC U209)
    • MSC U409 Operations Management (Requires ACC U209)

The requirements to Minor in Business are that you maintain a QPA of 2.000 and notify the College of Business (250 Dodge, 617-373-3270) sometime in your Middler year so that they can track your progress toward completion. The CBA has certain requirements for admission.
