Minor in Electrical Engineering Technology

To qualify for a minor in Electrical Engineering Technology, the student must complete the following courses with a QPA of 2.0 or better. Up to eight  semester hours of transfer credit may be transferred for equivalent course work but the remaining courses must be taken in the School of Engineering Technology. A student does not have to be enrolled in the School of Engineering Technology to declare the minor, but the student must meet the published prerequisites for all courses.

  • EET U201 – Circuit Analysis 1
  • EET U202 – Lab for Circuit Analysis 1
  • EET U301 – Circuit Analysis 2
  • EET U302 – Lab for Circuit Analysis 2
  • EET U311 – Analog Electronics 1
  • EET U312 – Lab for Analog Electronics 1
  • EET U321 – Digital Electronics 1
  • EET U322 – Lab for Digital Electronics 1
  • EET U566 – Industrial Control Systems 1

To obtain credit for a minor in engineering technology, students must file a petition form with the School of Engineering Technology in 120 Snell Engineering Center. Interested students should confer with Roy Dalsheim (120 Snell, 617-373-7777) as soon as possible.
