NU-ASME tries to host a semesterly workshop series on the use of ProEngineer or SolidWorks, two very common solid modeling platforms. The workshops will cover the basic uses of the software and are an invaluable experience for those looking to add solid modeling to their résumé. The scheduled dates for the workshops vary per semester. If you are interested in participating in one of these workshops, please speak with an NU-ASME officer at the next weekly meeting.
If you have experience with SolidWorks or ProEngineer and would be interested in teaching a workshop, please indicate your interest by sending an email to the address below.

Solar Splash was founded in 1994 and is an intercollegiate competition in which engineering teams design, build, and race solar powered boats. Given the nature of today’s energy crisis, NU-ASME sees this competition as an opportunity to develop alternative energy solutions and learn about different applications. |
