FAQ
The Six Pillars
ACADEMICS – Strong academic support is key to the road of graduation and SHPE is a gateway to the necessary academic resources on campus.
CULTURE– Our culture makes us a familia and we recognize its importance while enhancing our professional image.
LEADERSHIP – Leadership motivates members to take action. Becoming a leader develops skills that are sought after in the professional world.
NETWORKING – Creating a network comprised of professionals, the Boston community, and Northeastern University is what enables the organization to have unlimited potential. Having a network builds character when helping others. Building a network with professionals enables the members to have richer experiences in their college years through workshops and mentors.
OUTREACH – Our community services benefit high schools and the surrounding communities. Outreach helps up to build character and boosts the moral of the members by “giving back”. It makes the familia come together.
PROFESSIONALISM – Through a combination of experiences, workshops and all the previous pillars, students become open minded, sophisticated and experienced leaders. Professionalism yields opportunities that few students would ever see until after graduation.
