Borehole Casing

20 feet long Schedule 40 PVC pipes are used for Borehole casing. A slip cap is used at the bottom
Casing is extended to the bottom of each Borehole, by attaching 20 feet long pipes one by one. Threaded pipes are used for ease of connecting. Casing is also filled with water to balance the internal pressure and help to combat bouyancy forces.
Once the casing reached the bottom, Hydraulic grip is used to keep the casing stable against bouyancy forces.
Finally, the casing is fixed by pumping, grouting fluid between the casing and borehole. Grouting fluid is produced by mixing cement, concrete and water.
