Dear Friend,
Welcome to the College of Engineering where Leadership and Innovation are our history, our guide stars, and our expectation.
Since its birth in 1909 under Dean Hercules Geromanos, the College has been an innovator in engineering education, embracing and building the new concept of Experiential Learning centered on Cooperative partnerships with industry. Today, we continue that legacy of innovation and leadership in undergraduate and professional education, and in research and technology transfer.
As we plan the College’s 2009 Centennial Celebration as the first full-time college at Northeastern University, we honor our past achievements and the great success of our alumni, and we look to the future, as we educate students for, and work hard on, the 21st Century challenges in Energy, Environment, Security and Human Health.
Northeastern College of Engineering is a special place. We are differentiated from other schools by our successful experiential model of education and our focus on technology solutions to societal challenges. The College is its people – faculty, students, alumni, and partners. All of our leadership, innovation, and growth comes from these sources. We seek, deliver, and will help you achieve, excellence.
