College of Engineering About

Alumni

"Our students and faculty are limited only by the boundaries of their imaginations -- and I discover each and every day that their imaginations know no bounds."

Dean David E. Luzzi expressed that view as the College of Engineering celebrated its centennial year. It's been an abiding sentiment of engineering deans at Northeastern since the college's founding in 1909.

Outstanding teacher-scholars, exceptional students, world-class research facilities and labs – all contributing to discovery and new knowledge in health, security and sustainability … each and every day.

Key to all this is the commitment of our alumni, families and friends: mentoring students, providing scholarships and financial support, creating co-op and career opportunities, building bridges to industry, advancing research and innovation... and insisting that a Northeastern engineering education not be just good, but great.

If you are already engaged in the life of the college, our sincerest thanks. If not, we encourage you to get involved in this community of more than 50,000 current and aspiring engineers. Attend an event, reconnect with friends, tap into co-op, post a position, get job leads, make a gift to support students and faculty, and much more. The opportunities are boundless.
