How to Apply

Prospective Northeastern students apply to a specific college at the University. Each college has its own criteria for admission to set a student up for success.

For the College of Engineering, the high school transcript is the most important element of an application. The admissions committee will weigh math and science courses the heaviest. Engineering applicants must complete four years of math (geometry, algebra 1, algebra 2, and a fourth year of trigonometry and/or analysis and/or pre-calculus). Engineering applicants must also take physics as part of a full sequence of science. The committee recommends students taking the most rigorous math and science curriculum offered by the high school.
