Eligibility

Engineering is a rigorous curriculum and as such, grade requirements are somewhat stringent. Based on a student’s gpa, a student could be immediately accepted to the College of Engineering, or could be invited to take prescribed math/science/engineering courses for one semester (internal transfer program). The College of Engineering requires a minimum GPA of 2.200 for admission to the internal transfer program. After this provisional semester a student’s record would be reviewed for admittance to the College of Engineering. A student should have a ‘back-up-plan” or another major in mind in case they are not admitted to the College of Engineering after this provisional term.
