Come Play! Cool Computer Games like Sim City, Supergoo, and Lego Mindstorms! Play with a microscope check out anything and be able to view it on the computer. The Connections Center is home to a computer lab and study area devoted to Connections participants. The Lab has 12 workstations with software such as:
Sim City - Build a city from the ground up. Build roads, houses, schools and more. You're the Mayor in this game and you decide how your city will run.
Metacreations Bryce 4.0 - Create 3D pictures that move and look realistic
KA's Hyperstudio 3.3 - Create your own project with pictures, sound and movies.
Broderbunds Kid Pix Studio Deluxe - Paint, Write, and Animate with Moopies, Stampimator and Digital Puppets
Kai's Supergoo - Take your favorite pictures and twist them, swirl them, Goo them!
The center also has Lego Mindstorms software and robot where you can program and decorate your own robot to do what ever you imagine. You can see what's going on right now at the Computer Lab by checking out the lab online with our Connections Webcam
The Computer Clubhouse is a model after-school learning environment where young people explore their own interests and become confident learners through the use of technology. The Clubhouse is designed as an environment where young people have complete access to computer technology and resources to help them create self-defined projects, gain confidence with computer technology and software, and find their niche within the technology.
What does the Clubhouse do for you?
A Clubhouse Mentor is anyone with a curiosity and interest in learning more about technology and working with young people. Mentors, like our Connections participants, are diverse in age, background, interests, and technology experience. Current mentors include: students, artists, educators, graphic designers, software developers, administrators and parents. Mentors generally are asked to do the following:

- Work with Clubhouse girls, creating and inspiring new and fun projects
- Orient and welcome new clubhouse girls
- Offer specific guidance or workshops in areas of expertise
- Provide general help
- Support girls in thinking about career/college opportunities
