As a high school student, you can participate in a number of CONNECTIONS programs to help you learn more about careers and college majors related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Connections offers you:
The main objective of CONNECTIONS is to help to prepare the girls and women for a future in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Connections not only works with high school girls, but also with middle school girls and college women. E-Mentoring is a major part of the Connections Program. E-mentoring allows high school girls to be in contact with one or more professional mentors and Northeastern University students via email who are involved in STEM fields. It is a unique opportunity that allows high school girls the chance to ask questions about what it is like to go to college and major in a STEM field, and a chance to ask questions about what it is like to choose a career in a STEM field.
