We are excited to announce our second Three Minute Thesis competition, on Tuesday, October 16th, 11AM-1PM, organized in collaboration with the Snell Library.
The 3MT is an academic competition that challenges PhD students to describe their research within three minutes, with one static slide.
The winners will get amazing prizes by library, including a guest appearance on the What’s New podcast for the top 3 finishers, credit to the 3D printing studio ($100 for first place, and $50 for second place), as well as gift cards to local businesses.
Kindly RSVP with this link.
If you wish to present your doctoral work, you will need to submit an abstract of your thesis (250-300 words).
The abstract submission deadline is on Monday, October 1st, at midnight.
All graduate students are welcome, and you can sign in as an audience member if you do not wish to present your research.
Free pizza will be served.
