First-year Engineering Design students have created a set of interactive exhibits to convey advanced principles of engineering and technology. Their given objective is to raise the interest of the target audience of middle-high school students in STEM topics. At the same time, the student engineers were to delve deeply into two technologies or principles with real-world application and master them as dual themes for their exhibits. This set of walk-through exhibits was by design short-term and limited resources with the deliverables being proof-of-concept exhibit designs. Their work serves as an inspiration and springboard to modular stand-alone demonstrations at a variety of venues. Come on by, be engaged, and learn something new! ~10-15 minutes.
