Calling all STEM students!
Are you dissatisfied with how our government uses science? Do you want to use your STEM knowledge to make an impact?
The STEM Advocacy 101 Workshop Series will build your advocacy skills in a three-part workshop series on Wednesdays, 12 - 1:30 pm, April 11th, 18th, and 25th, culminating in a visit to a local elected representative.
Workshops will be interactive discussions led by Northeastern's Science Policy Group, featuring guest speakers who are experts in areas of policy, advocacy, and communication. Lunch will be catered, and the final workshop will be followed by an ice cream social catered by JP Licks.
Please fill out a brief application form if you are interested in this opportunity. We will reach out to you no later than Monday April 9th if you are selected as a participant. Space is limited, and priority will be given to those who can attend all three workshops.
Thank you for your interest in science advocacy!
