Welcome to the graduate program in Telecommunication Systems Management (TSM) at Northeastern University.
During your course of study you will have the opportunity to take courses from a wide range of telecom networking, software systems and business courses from the different colleges and departments at Northeastern. Although not required, you will also have the opportunity to blend your in-class study with on-the-job experience through Northeastern’s Cooperative Plan of Education (co-op).
The program of study for each student on the TSM program is unique, as are the students themselves. Students come to Northeastern from all over the world, from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, who might have a lot of or little telecom experience, or who might be attending Northeastern immediately after acquiring an undergraduate degree. Student aspirations also tend to be quite far-ranging – from those who want a purely technical position to those who want to start their own company. Consequently, students need to work closely with their program adviser to develop a program of study that fits their distinctive background and meets their own particular goals.
