Industry Connections
Northeastern University, with its nationally-recognized Cooperative Plan of Education, has had extremely close ties with industry for many years. Most faculty involved in the TSM program, both full-time and adjunct, also have strong ties to telecommunication companies operating in the New England area. In many TSM courses, guest lecturers from local telecommunication companies provide a business perspective to the technology covered during the course.
INDUSTRIAL ADVISORY BOARD
The Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) for the TSM program provides guidance and strategic direction to the program. Board members assist with curriculum development and cooperative efforts with industry, and help ensure that the program remains relevant to industry’s needs. The IAB meets at least once per year.

Mass Technology Leadership Council
The Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) is a business association that addresses the critical leadership issues of innovative technology and technology-enabled companies. MassTLC draws on the rich legacies of the Massachusetts Network Communications Council, the Massachusetts Software Council, and the New England Business and Technology Association to foster entrepreneurship and promote the success of companies that develop and deploy technology across industry sectors
