Computer Systems Engineering



The Master of Science in Computer Systems Engineering (MSCSE) is offered by the College of Engineering and may be pursued on a full- or part-time basis. Students admitted to the MSCSE program must select either the Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) or Engineering Software Design (ESD) concentration.

Students in the ESD concentration may choose to focus in an area of specialty by selecting elective coursework from one of the following areas:

Advanced Software Development CSYE 6210, CSYE 7215, CSYE 7225, INFO 6220 (formerly CSEG210, CSEG215, CSEG225 and ISYG220 respectively)
Web Development INFO 6210, CSYE 7225, INFO 6250 (formerly ISYG210, CSEG225 and ISYG250 respectively)
Human Computer Interaction

IE 7315, CSYE 7280, CSYE 7270(formerly IEMG315, CSEG280, and CSEG270 respectively)

Virtual Environments CSYE 7270, CSYE 7280, IE 7315, IE 7615 (formerly CSEG270, CSEG280, IEMG315, and IEMG275 respectively)

Upon completion of one semester of study, full-time students may be eligible for a six-month, full-time placement in the Cooperative Education Program.
