Students
admitted to the MSCSE program must select either the Computer-Aided
Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) or Engineering
Software Design (ESD) concentration. Applicants to either
concentration are expected to be proficient in the C programming
language. All students in the ESD concentration must complete
either a Master’s Thesis or Project.
In addition to the elective courses listed
below, students may take courses in the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering and the College of
Computer and Information Science upon approval of their
faculty adviser.
Students interested in pursuing research
related to Computer Systems Engineering beyond the Master
of Science Degree may pursue an Interdisciplinary Doctor
of Philosophy as described above.
