Course Descriptions

Faculty and Program Advisers

Master of Science in Computer Systems Engineering (MSCSE)

Students admitted to the MSCSE program must select either the Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) or Engineering Software Design (ESD) concentration. Applicants to either concentration are expected to be proficient in the C programming language. All students in the ESD concentration must complete either a Master’s Thesis or Project.

In addition to the elective courses listed below, students may take courses in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the College of Computer and Information Science upon approval of their faculty adviser.

Students interested in pursuing research related to Computer Systems Engineering beyond the Master of Science Degree may pursue an Interdisciplinary Doctor of Philosophy as described above.
