Faculty and Program Advisers

Master of Science in Computer Systems Engineering (MSCSE)

All MSCSE students are expected to have a Bachelor’s degree in some field of engineering or computer science. Knowledge of the C programming language is assumed. The four required courses for each concentration are given below. Students may choose four elective courses from the list below. In addition to the elective courses listed below, students may take courses in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the College of Computer and Information Science upon approval of their Program Adviser. Students may also choose to complete an eight semester hour Thesis in lieu of two elective courses.

Students interested in pursuing research related to Computer Systems Engineering beyond the Master of Science degree may apply to the Interdisciplinary Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering.
