| The
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)
offers the following graduate degree programs:
Master
of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Leadership
Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering
Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering
Students
may complete the Master of Science in Electrical and Computer
Engineering degree program on either a part-time, or continuous
full-time basis. Students may pursue PhD programs on a basis
consistent with the residence requirements for the degree
as shown below. The ECE curriculum includes areas of concentration
in communications and signal processing; computer engineering;
control systems and signal processing; electromagnetics,
plasma, optics; electronic circuits, semiconductor devices,
and microfabrication; and power systems, power electronics,
and motion control.
ECE courses typically carry four semester hours of credit.
Full-time students are responsible for meeting with their
