Healthcare Systems Engineering
Northeastern’s healthcare engineering program has focused for over 30 years on improving efficiency, quality, logistics, safety, flow, effectiveness, and access - in much the same way manufacturing, airline, and service companies optimize their operations - including academic programs, applied projects, funded research, and 2 federally-awarded healthcare systems engineering centers. Our mission is to broadly impact healthcare process improvement through a combination of education, research, applied projects, and work force development. We welcome partnerships of any kind to advance the shared mission of improving healthcare processes.
Our approach is steeped in the belief that rich interdisciplinary collaborations lead to strong solutions, discovery, and synergies. Our work is supported by over two dozen faculty and staff, six research labs, and several interdisciplinary programs. Our invitation is to welcome discussion with any like-minded organizations, individuals, or students.
