NSF Center for Health Organization Transformation (CHOT)
The Center for Health Organization Transformation (CHOT) conducts applied systems engineering research on problems of common interest to our member hospitals. CHOT is a consortium of nationally renowned faculty working in healthcare systems engineering, industrial engineering (IE), operations research (OR), and management science partnered with some of the leading healthcare organizations in the country. Our site is conceptualized and structured to work directly in the industry-academia interface in order to accelerate the application of systems engineering and related methods to profoundly impact the improvement of healthcare systems. We are partnered
with leading healthcare organizations in the Boston area and nationally, leveraging a long history of work with these organizations and our strong undergraduate and graduate healthcare industrial engineering programs.
