    Northeastern's College of Engineering has added several new degree programs including a BS in Electrical Engineering and Music, a BS in Environmental Engineering and Health Sciences, a BS/JD in Mechanical Engineering and Law 3+3, a BS/MS in Environmental Engineering, and an MS in Robotics as well as minors in Healthcare Systems Operations and Robotics.

    ECE Assistant Professor Alireza Ramezani studied the flight movements of bats to build a robotic Bat Bot that has more maneuverability than drones and would be good for surveillance of traffic patterns or airport security.

    A variety of robots, such as a prosthetic hand, drones, mobile robots, and an autonomous car and kayak from ECE Associate Professor Taskin Padir's RIVeR Lab and ECE/MIE Professor Hanumant Singh's robotics research center were on display at the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex as part of National Engineers Week.
