Congratulations Ming Wood
MIE middler Ming Wood was selected as the recipient of the $2500 Robert L. Peaslee-Detroit Brazing and Soldering Scholarship which will be presented at the AWS conference in Las Vegas.
This fund was established in 2004 by Robert L. Peaslee and the AWS Detroit Brazing and Soldering Division of the AWS Detroit Section. The purpose for this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to those individuals attending an accredited engineering college or university with an emphasis on Brazing applications. The Robert L. Peaslee Brazing Scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a minimum four year bachelors degree, or graduate degree, in an engineering school program emphasizing brazing applications.
