MEET: Museum Exhibition for Engineering & Technology

December 3, 2014

The First Year Engineering Learning and Innovation Center (368 Snell) was bustling with energy this afternoon as students in Senior Academic Specialist Beverly Jaeger's First Year Engineering class showcased their walk-through exhibits in MEET, the Museum Exhibition for Engineering & Technology.

The theme of this project was inspired by the Museum of Science and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) principles. Each team had to highlight two STEM principles showcased in real-world applications. The exhibits were meant to be interactive, educational and suitable for a target audience of children aged ten to sixteen.

Students seemed excited to be able to talk about their creations to faculty members and other students, while learning from their peers' projects as well.
