Student Wins GROW Grant

Bioengineering PhD student David Walsh won a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (GROW) grant to perform ocular diagnostic research at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

The National Science Foundation partners up with countries all over the world to expand opportunities for professional development of those who are awarded the GROW grant.

The KTH Royal Institute specializes in research in areas such as molecular biosciences and production engineering. The university also hosts several research centres in Sweden.
