APPLY ONLINE

Please note the following important changes to our application process:

1. Online applications are now REQUIRED.  If you have a paper application, it is out of date and will not be accepted.

2. Official GRE and TOEFL scores must be submitted through ETS.  Photocopies will not be accepted and will be discarded.

3. Official transcripts must be mailed directly to the Graduate School of Engineering (see address below).

4. The 2010-2011 DCF form and supporting financial documents should be mailed to the Graduate School of Engineering.  These documents MUST be ORIGINALS. Photocopies will not be accepted.

All other application materials MUST be submitted ONLINE.

All documents submitted must be originals.  Official transcripts of all previous undergraduate and graduate course work are required.  You should request that the transcripts be sent directly to the Graduate School of Engineering.  Letters of recommendation should be completed by someone acquainted with your academic and personal qualifications and must be completed online (a link to these is provided to you once you have created your online account).

Please submit only those documents required to complete your application package.  Unsolicited documents will not improve your chances for admission.

Applications received after the stated deadline but before the start of the semester will be processed.  However, please understand it may not be possible to have a decision rendered in time for you to begin taking classes.

Application deadlines

Full-time International Students:

• Fall Semester:   April 15
• Spring Semester:  September 15

Full-Time Domestic and all Part-Time Students:

• Fall Semester: July 15
• Spring Semester: November 15 

A complete application package consists of the following:

1. Online application form.

2. Application fee of USD $50 to be paid online by credit card, electronic check or money order

3. Two confidential letters of recommendation (online submission only).

4. Official transcripts of each college or university attended.

5. Resume for the Cooperative Plan of Education (if applicable)

6. Official GRE scores are required for applicants who do not hold undergraduate degrees from an ABET accredited college or university within the United States.  Graduates of non-accredited U.S. colleges and graduates with a GPA less than 3.0/4.0 should also submit GRE scores.  GRE scores must be submitted through ETS.
Institutional code is 3665, no department code is needed.

7. Official TOEFL scores are required by applicants whose native language is not English.  TOEFL scores must be submitted through ETS.  IELTS scores are also acceptable.
