FINANCIAL AID

Northeastern University offers graduate students on the Telecommunication Systems Management program a limited number of means of financial assistance.

Student Financial Services administers financial aid programs for graduate students, primarily in the form of loans, including Federal Perkins Loans, Federal Work Study, and Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans.  The financial aid application process can be rigorous and is strictly regulated.  Comprehensive information is available at www.financialaid.neu.edu.

Applicants need to understand that SGAs (Stipended Graduate Assistantships), in the form of either Teaching Assistantships or Research Assistantships, are not available to students on the Telecommunication Systems Management program (nor indeed to any master's students at Northeastern.

Graduate Dean’s Scholarship

Dean’s Scholarships are awarded to a limited number of incoming master’s students.  To be eligible for consideration, a student must be in the top one third of their program’s incoming class.  No separate application is required beyond the admissions application materials.  Students selected for the Dean’s Scholarship will be notified separately by the Graduate School of Engineering.
