- Orientation
The Fall Orientation Day for new graduate engineering students is held during
the week before fall classes begin. Attendance at the informational
session is mandatory for full-time students and recommended for part-time
students. During the orientation you will be introduced to department
chairpersons and faculty, along with staff of the Graduate School of Engineering.
You will also be given information that you will find useful as you begin
your graduate studies. At the conclusion of the information session,
you will be organized into groups by department or program and will then
meet with the TSM program advisor to develop a program
of study. After your advisor has approved your course selections,
you may register for classes.
There is no official orientation during Spring semester. New students
should plan to meet with the TSM program advisor before registering for any
classes.
Further information on orientation is available at http://www.coe.neu.edu/gse/newStudents.html.
