Women In Engineering
WIE
Northeastern University Programs for
Women in Engineering
For bright, motivated women interested in science and math, engineering is
a challenging and rewarding career that offers opportunities to improve people's
lives. Northeastern's practice-oriented education helps students develop the
intellectual and practical skills plus the personal maturity that lead you to
a lifetime of achievement.
Take advantage of the opportunities provided through Northeastern's Women in
Engineering (WIE) Program Office - One of the oldest of its kind anywhere. WIE
connects you with mentors, tutors, career advice, financial aid, and other women
in engineering - all the resources that promote your success in engineering.
To succeed as an engineer, you first have to succeed in the classroom. WIE supports
your academic achievement throughout your years at Northeastern. As a freshman,
you can ensure your best performance by using WIE's tutoring services. With
this one-to-one assistance from upperclass women engineering students, you also
get a chance to make friends and learn from their classroom and co-op experiences.
Most of all, WIE offers a caring staff interested in your personal and professional
growth, and ready to provide any specific guidance you may need.
Making professional contacts is easy when 2,000 women have graduated from your
engineering program. But WIE makes it even easier to connect with these Northeastern
women - and with current students who will join you in the profession. For instance,
WIE's Industrial Advisory Board gives you access to working women engineers
who encourage your pursuit of an engineering education and career. And an e-mentoring
program links you via e-mail to women both in engineering and at Northeastern.
You get to know women engineers of all ages and at all stages in their careers,
learning about their experinces and gaining expert advice.

Women in Engineering Programs office can help you fulfill your personal and
professional promise, please contact Rachelle Reisberg .
