Who We Are

The Masters of Information Systems (MSIS) Program at Northeastern University facilitates career transformation for students with different technical backgrounds. The Information Systems Program mixes academic and corporate experience as a way of enabling our students to develop their professional lives.

From the first semester, we offer courses that deepen academic knowledge while building the skill sets useful for quality co-op jobs, which integrates academic learning with workplace experience.

The MSIS Program depends on a dynamic group of instructors with deep industrial expertise who are engaged in solving complex business problems through academic discipline. We strive to offer a clear growth path to a prosperous future by offering access to high-tech companies through jobs after graduation.

Northeastern is situated in an environment rich in both business and cultural opportunities. Boston is, of course, a financial and bio-technological center, burgeoning with banking, insurance, and bio-medical companies, many of which are undergoing major growth and organizational transformations that will require precisely the kind of skills our students learn in the MSIS Program. We do our best to stay attuned to such needs.
