Continuing a multi-year expansion in size and scope, Northeastern University’s College of Engineering seeks faculty candidates for tenured or tenure-track appointments at the associate or full professor level, both within the College and in conjunction with interdisciplinary positions across the campus. Exceptional candidates at the assistant professor level will also be considered.

Bioengineering
  • Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, tenure or tenure-track position with expertise in addressing fundamental questions in network or neural engineering and/or systems biology
Chemical Engineering
  • Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, tenure or tenure-track position with expertise in any research area of chemical engineering, including but not limited to: advanced materials, applied theory and computation, biological engineering, biomolecular engineering, catalysis, electrochemistry, electronics, medicine, nanotechnology, reaction engineering and systems engineering.
Civil & Environmental Engineering
  • Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, tenure or tenure-track position with broad expertise in the area of Sustainable Urban Coastal Systems, with particular interest in Coastal Hydrodynamics, Computational Climate Modeling, and Resilient and Sustainable Infrastructure Systems
Electrical & Computer Engineering
  • Professor & Chair, tenure or tenure-track position to significantly impact the direction and trajectory of an already strong, vibrant department.
  • Associate/Full Professor, tenure or tenure-track position with expertise in control and cyber-physical-social systems, machine learning and data science, robotics and human-system interaction, micro/nano-devices, and communication and networking
  • Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, tenure or tenure-track position with a focus in Computer Engineering
Mechanical & Industrial Engineering
  • Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, tenure or tenure-track position with expertise in the general areas of mechanical engineering & industrial engineering, solid mechanics and resilience are of particular interest.
