Graduate Student Programming (TA Workshops)

The Center for Advancing Teaching & Learning through Research now offers teaching support for graduate students in their roles as teaching assistants, course instructors, and future faculty. This Spring, we are offering six workshops specifically for graduate students:

• Bring Out the Best in Your Students: Positive Classroom Climate Techniques (Thursday, February 5, 3:00-4:30 PM)
• Lecturing for Learning (Tuesday, February 17, 6:00-7:30 PM)
• Grading for Feedback and Efficiency (Monday, March 23, 3:00-4:30 PM)
• Writing Your Statement of Teaching Philosophy (Wednesday, April 1, 11:45 AM-1:15 PM)
• Microteaching: Improve Your Teaching through Practice and Feedback (Thursday, April 9, 3:00-5:00 PM)
